Program will speak the right language

"A NEW software program from Xenon of the US adds Support for up to 150 languages to just about any Windows program from Microsoft Word to Corel Draw (Nigel Powell writes).
OnePen Is a Windows 95 software package which loads alongside, other programs and opens a small window into which you can type foreign characters using a standard keyboard.

Before this, the only way you could edit in a foreign language on a PC was by purchasing a dedicated word-processor, which had language support built in. The product can cope with character sets such as Arabic, Hebrew, Bengali and Russian, as well as European languages. It also supports different language menus, so that users can operate the program in their native tongue, even on an English alphabet PC. The program does not translate the text it is purely an input mechanism for foreign language users.

Spellcheckers ars provided for most languages, and the user can create their own dictionary as well as supplement the English language thesaurus supplied with their own language to help with editing, an on-screen “soft keyboard’ can be displayed which shows the character assigned to each of the English keys. The program sports an impressive array of customising options including the facility to add additional fonts, languages and soft keyboards. OnePen also supports email, editing and World Wide Web page design in foreign language, which, the suppliers say makes it ideal for those wishing to trade with non-English speaking countries. The products cost about £175 upwards, according to the languages supported."
